An Interesting Turn Of Events
One day there was a salmon swimming in a river. Above the salmon was a fly hovering above the water. The salmon thought, "If that fly drops another 6 inches, I'll be able to jump up and have it for lunch." Next to the river stood a grizzly bear watching all this going on. The bear thought, "If that fly drops another 6 inches, that salmon will jump up and I'll be able to grab the salmon and have it for lunch."
On the other side of the river was a hunter watching all this going on. The hunter thought, "If that fly drops another 6 inches, that salmon will jump up, the bear will grab it, and I'll be able to shoot the bear." Behind the hunter was a mouse with his eyes on the hunter's sandwiches. The mouse thought, "If that fly drops another 6 inches, that salmon will jump up, the bear will grab the salmon, the hunter will shoot the bear, and I'll be able to grab those sandwiches whilst the hunter's caught up in all the excitement."
Behind the mouse is a cat. The cat was watching all this and thought, "If that fly drops another 6 inches, that salmon will jump up, the bear will grab the salmon, the hunter will shoot the bear, the mouse will grab the sandwiches, and I'll be able to catch the mouse and have him for lunch." The scene was set, and all of a sudden it happened.
The fly dropped, the salmon jumped, the bear grabbed the salmon, the hunter shot the bear, the mouse grabbed the sandwiches, and the cat went to pounce on the mouse, but overshot and landed in the river. The moral of the story: If a fly drops 6 inches, there's bound to be a wet pussy somewhere.
